About me

Introduction	I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and growing up in Kentucky has fostered my love for ceramics. I attended the Appalachian Center for Craft in Tennessee where I received my BFA(Bachelor of Fine Arts) with a concentration in ceramics. Ceramics has provided a deeper connection to the world around me. In my time at the Craft Center I grew in many ways and the most important to me was realizing the value in how things are made. I began to take pride in what I was making and contributing to the world. I truly value my experiences there. After receiving my BFA, I decided to travel West to pursue my MFA(Master of Fine Arts) at Washington State University. WSU has provided me with the opportunity to continue my education and artistic endeavors.
