| Introduction | Since I was a child, I have been curious about why there are some in the world that have, and many that have not. This curiosity motivated me to enter into the Global Stewardship Program at Capilano University, a two year program that has taught us how to work with non-profits and do international aid work. Over the past two years, I have been exposed to a world that has captivated my interest and motivated me to work in the field of International Development. I am extremely passionate about people and helping to improve the conditions within which we live. Although I have done some traveling, never have I ventured into a volunteer program like CASA's pilot project in Uganda. This experience is something that I have wanted to do for a very long time, and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to realize that dream. I hope to continue growing and learning on this journey! |
