| Introduction | My name is Andrew Markham. I am resident of Harlan, Iowa. I am eighteen years old. I will be attending Creighton University in Omaha, NE this fall. This year I was awarded a Borlaug-Ruan International Internship, an eight-week, all-expense-paid, biological research internship, in Ankara, Turkey. I will be working at CIMMYT (Centro Internacional de Mejoramiento de Maíz y Trigo or The International Centre of Maize and Wheat Improvement) researching corn and wheat pathogens. This blog is a documentation of my experiences. I hope you enjoy sharing in this experience with me. |
