| Introduction | Books have formed me. I have read and been influenced by many different genres at different times in my life. I have also gone for years withouth reading anything... then find a new thirst and pleasure again for reading. I came to Tolkien rather late in life. I find in his writings a never ending source of inspiration and pleasure and have read almost all that he has ever published (including his son's CHofME). Nowadays, I hardly read anything that is not Tolkien related (except my favourite Google Reader blogs and feeds of course). I am currently reading Tolkien's Letters (Carpenter). Part of the purpose of this Blog is to chronicle and share those moments of pleasure and insight that come to me from reading Tolkien.... |
