Who's The Mommy?

Location	Charleston, South Carolina
Introduction	I moved from L.A. to Charleston for a change of pace. Compared to life back home, you might say my life came to a complete halt. Despite endless escapades w/ my girls, running around like a chicken w/ its head cut off year after year working on this event or that project, and Lord knows what else life didn't begin until I had my son CJ on 8/27/07. I thought I had seen it all, but to my surprise, nothing is further from the truth. Watching him grow is an ongoing adventure. I’ve seen smart kids before, but now I observe kids and it is mind-boggling what they know. "Kids Say the Darndest Things" was on point but if it were on the air now, we might learn a thing or two from these munchkins. Words that describe my son are intelligent, athletic, bossy, controlling, sassy. I could go on (but I won't). So I created this blog as an outlet to document my daily life with CJ and to get feedback about other remarkable kids. Some days I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming when my 3 year old says "Hush let me talk" or "Wait a minute.” When I realize I’m being controlled by someone who doesn't pay a bill, or even clean his own room, I have to ask, Who's the mommy? Did I get punked?
