| Introduction | I hold a degree from the premier culinary school in the nation, JWU in Providence, RI. Yes I said the premier school and yes I was referring to Johnson and Wales, not the CIA, not NECI, not AI, and certainly not Le Cordon Bleu, all good schools in their own might and yes I am a bit biased. I have created this blog to journal my experiences in the world of food. There is a huge push these days to lessen our impact on the earth, to eat more locally and to support chefs and restaurants that support local farmers and ranchers. I fully support this movement and stand behind it all the way. As a chef I feel that it is my duty to do just that. So take a stand America, get out there and support your local farmers and keep local restaurants local. I am not saying not to go to the 'Box Restaurants' only don't forget about the little guy, they need your help even more today. |
