Favorite movies	Classic Musicals (Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland) The Lion In Winter, The Lord Of the Rings trilogy, just about any movie with Denzel Washington (he just does great work and usually picks good films) Mel Brooks comedies, The African Queen, Inherit The Wind, The Devil And Daniel Webster, Beetlejuice (too many more to name her but Turner Classic Movies is my favorite movie channel)
Favorite music	The Beatles, the music from the aforementioned classic movie musicals, Aerosmith, Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Pink, Don Henley, Peter Gabriel, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (again too many to list here)
Favorite books	The Lord Of the Rings(and pretty much anything Tolkien), The Belgariad, The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy, the Xanth novels, Song In The Silence, Little Bee, The Given Day. the Sword and Sorceress Anthologies (and many others)

Huh? Well her stage name was Ginger Rogers, the name she was born with was Virginia Katherine McMath.
