Introduction Frantz Fanon once said "sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn't fit in with the core belief." In life, I firmly believe that we all are products of our collective experiences. Our environment and the people that surround us somehow consciously or otherwise, aid who and what we are in the present. We then become socially conditioned to embrace or detest values and opinions expressed by those we encounter in our life's course. Expressing respect and open mindedness towards the next person is key. Whether or not you choose to believe those ideas is completely up to you. Accommodating another person's opinion does not make you a sellout. Potato, potatoe...some say O.J did it, others argue that his brakes failed so he couldn’t pull over. I think unicorns exist and squirrels are rats with PhDs...what is the truth? Only you can decide for yourself.
