Introduction Caitlyn E. Mitchell has been writing for more than a decade. Her love of fairy tales began when hiking in the north Georgia mountains with her family, while her mother invented fey creatures living between the tree roots and campsites. A graduate of Oglethorpe University and a winner of the Sydney Lanier Prize for Short Fiction, she specializes in historically rewritten fairy tales, each with their own unique twist. By daylight she works as an editor in academic publishing for the neurosurgical field. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, an Irish harp, and more wind-chimes than the noise ordinance should allow.
