Introduction I am fifty-something and I'm still struggling to define myself. I am too young to be a granny (of four granddaughters and one grandson), too old to be a young mom (five kids-- two still at home), too irreverent to be a missionary wife. I'm trying to find my bearings after my mother passed away this year -- I feel sort of adrift now that she's not here for either of us to take care of each other. I can't tolerate tags in any form. I am armed with a seam ripper, scissors and Goo Gone and I'm not afraid to use them. My other phobias are improper apostrophe usage and becoming senile. I long to be content and joyful because I know that God has blessed me with more than enough.

Purple, what else?
