| Introduction | The Bike Hut offers rentals, repairs and youth training on Pier 40 in San Francisco's South Beach. Opened in 1996 as an outpost of the Bicycle Community Project, it's a resource for local cyclists and a center for skills training for kids from low-income communities. Staffed with a shop mentor, mechanics and volunteers, the Bike Hut is a place to rent bikes, learn to build and repair them, and buy parts and accessories. Whether you want to rent a bike for a ride on the Embarcadero, pick up some new gear, or just learn more about bikes, stop by the Bike Hut. The Bike Hut is open 10 AM to 6 PM Wednesday through Sunday (unless it's raining). The Bike Hut his closed Monday and Tuesday. If you wish to make a donation or learn more about our programs, please contact The Bike Hut at 415-543-4335 or feel free to email us here. We look forward to hearing from you! |
