| Introduction | We met in college on a choir trip to Korea in May 1997. We had our first "date" on the beach in Honolulu. We knew we would get married within a matter of a few months. Our wedding on Sept. 19, 1998 was amazing. We went on a honeymoon to Maui rich in love and that was it. Seriously, we had like $40! We settled in Salem and Kelly began his career in Juvenile Justice. I finished college and worked in retail, my most rewarding job being asst. manager at a Bridal Salon. In March 2003, Kelly got hired on with Deschutes County as a Juvenile Probation Officer. We made the move to Central Oregon-yay! In March 2004 we purchased our first home. In September 2005, we got the news we had been longing to hear for six years...we were pregnant! After a wonderful pregnancy, but a rough delivery, our pride and joy, Aspen Blythe, was born on May 12, 2006. In February 2008, Kelly transferred to the state of Oregon as a Juvenile Probation/Parole Officer. I am a SAHM, the hardest, yet BEST job in the world. We love our church, and enjoy serving on worship team. Our families and friends occupy most of our time nowadays, and that is just the way we like it. |
