| Introduction | I'm a 51 year old married father of two boys, a software architect by trade and an outdoors nut by birth. I live in Eastern Pennsylvania, so that's where most of the adventures in this blog take place. My purpose here is to write about the outdoors - cool places to hike and camp, essential gear you need, books about the outdoors that I love, nature and landscape photography, earthy spirituality, and just anything that has to do with enjoying the great outdoors. | Favorite movies | Comedy and horror are my two favorites but I like me some good dramas too... |
| Favorite music | Too many bands to list - I like most punk and hardcore (like old 80's style hardcore), metal of all sorts, classic rock, jazz, classical, some blues, some folk, etc. A little bit of everything. |
| Favorite books | A Walk In The Woods, The Complete Walker, Black Elk Speaks, Mother Earth News, any books about nature, outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, earth spirituality, music, painting, photography and computers are what I find myself reading most. On the rare occasion I read fiction I gravitate towards horror or spy novels. |
