Introduction	I am Jared's mother. I've been a nurse for 23 years. The reason I became a nurse is to take better care of my son, Jared. Jared was born with a congenital heart defect and had a fontan surgery early in his life. For the most part he led a healthy life. In November 2010 he became seriously ill and is now in need of a heart and liver transplant related to his heart defect. I am starting this blog mainly to give people updates but also to purge some of the emotions that come with the circumstances. This Blog is mainly my perception and it is not my wish to violate the privacy of anyone.
