Introduction	i guess i have always been a foodie having grown up with a family that cooked good food (at least to me)...my grandmother cooked for wealthy families in Chicago; my uncle was a chef for Amtrak; however, my mother didn't like to cook, although she made me chicken cacciatore once...a friend once gave me an article describing a food lover and nonfood lover...the food lover could tell you what they had at a banquet from 10 years ago...that would be me; i can still vividly see my grandmother preparing meat tartar while watching the Michael Douglas Show...i have been fortunate to have many friends to share this love of food with...i love having friends around when i cook to talk, drink, laugh, did i mention drink...this is what a food lover is to me.
