Introduction | I was fascinated by capitalism at a young age; growing up in a free market economy where fast easy money was favored over hard labor, I observed how the difference in these two mentalities of people, locally here in Los Angeles and throughout the U.S., dictated a vast difference in acquired lifestyles.
Always being taught the rules of the personal finance system as: A) get an education B) get a good job with benefits C) invest your earnings; a conflict of interest arose within me as this system was designed to encourage entrepreneurial spirits, yet herd college grads into cubicles. My interests peaked, leading me to study Business & Entrepreneurship in university and continuing on to receive an MBA Graduate Degree in Finance. Now, with a basic understanding in the role of Global Economics, I continually feel a sense to investigate the economic human or “homo-economicus”, as Adam Smith put it, and the overall economic climate that governs him. |
