| Introduction | Born and raised in Vicksburg, Ms. the town noted as being the site of a major Civil War battle. I grew up during the 60's and 70's in a state that didn't like Black people much. I survived. I'm the younngest girl of the seven children my parents had. I always wondered what being an only child would be like. My partner and I have been together 10 years, we own a house in Bloomingdale (a transitioning neighborhood), we have a daughter, lots of friends, and we love to travel. I'm a Realtor. I used to work in broadcasting (worked at NBC Radio, WWL in New Orleans and a couple of stations on the Ms. Gulf Coast. My last gig was in PR for a small- business trade group. The new gig is better. |
