Introduction	I'm a PhD student in Teacher Education at Michigan State University. I'm also a new mom to a little lady named Blythe. I feel burdened every day to try to make this world a better place. On most days I am interested in helping teachers learn to be more critical in the classroom and educating young people to better recognize problematic representations of gender, race and sexuality in mass media texts. On some days I’m interested in completely re-imagining curriculum and redefining what it means to be educated. On other days I just want to sleep and eat brownies.
