Introduction	Born in New York City in 1952, raised in a Roman Catholic, Italian-American household, John Rullo spent 12 of his formative years as a student in the Catholic school system. Indoctrinated with ideas that an all-knowing, wrathful God sat on a throne in Heaven watching over the universe waiting to judge the good and the evil, John escaped the snares of Catholicism by enrolling in Queens College, a melting pot of religions and races. It was in that institute of higher learning where he met the friend who became his songwriting partner and the girl who later became his wife. In the years that followed, John sought after a career in rock ‘n roll, got married, raised a family and set out on a journey to embrace spirituality and denounce organized religion. He is the father of three children and lives on Long Island.
