| Introduction | I am a 30 year old woman living with severe chronic back and leg pain. On January 16, 2009, I had a spinal cord stimulator (aka neurostimulator) implanted to help manage the pain. This blog chronicles my experience with all procedures relating to the implant, my recovery, and daily life with a neurostimulator. I am also a lawyer (a nice one!) and my interests include reading (mostly historical fiction), spending time in bookstores (fawning over all the pretty books), painting (watercolor), black Labradors (especially my rascally 4 yr. old), baking (and scarfing down what I bake at an impressive speed), relaxing by the ocean (this does not include swimming in the ocean, as Jaws did a number on my psyche), and spending time with my amazingly hot and funny husband (husband, I know you're reading this) and my family and friends. |
