| Favorite books | Myth of a Christian Nation by Greg Boyd, So You Don't Want To Go To Church Anymore by Wayne Jacobson, Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. (These books have strong titles, but beautifully illustrate how religion hinders our intimacy with God and distorts his message of grace. I don't believe Jesus came to start another religion, but to end it. He desires a loving relationship with us, not a fear based performance.) Also love Bryan Post's, From Fear to Love. |
