| Introduction | I am a simple person who likes to enjoy life. I feel I am changing with every passing year (hopefully for the better!) and in fact when I read some of my old blog posts I feel someone else close to me (but not me) has written it. I love Chennai and while I might not be able to always differentiate a Sudha Dhanyasi from an Abheri I like listening to Carnatic music and I love the Sabha experience in Chennai in December / Margazhi. I love Tamil and have a passion for Bharathiyar's poems, Vainavam and Azhwar Paasurams! |

| Favorite movies | The God father, Limelight , Braveheart, , Schindler's list, Shawshank redemption, to name a few in English and Uthama Puthiran, Paasa Malar, Thillana Mohanaambal, Raja Paarvai and many other Tamil movies. My favourite actors are Sivaji Ganesan, Charlie Chaplin, Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Naseeruddin Shah and Kamal Hassan. |
| Favorite music | I am a great fan of the maestro Ilayaraja who changed the face of Tamil cinema music with Annakili, particularly the song Annakili unnai theduthe which even today is as fresh and different as it was when I heard it years ago! Sometimes I wonder if Wordsworth's Solitary reaper would have sung a tune as good as this:-) |
| Favorite books | I read a lot. Mainly books on leadership. Some of my favourites include Execution, 7 habits, Naked leader, The art of innovation. I enjoy reading P.G.Wodehouse, there is nothing like the world of Wooster and Jeeves and the Blandings castle. You are bound to roll with laughter no matter how many times you have read it before. |
