| Introduction | I live in Vallejo CA. I don't want to leave here. I've heard people say it's a shit hole. Have you driven through the mid-west in the last 30 years? Vallejo, CA is paradise. I think the food is better here than in Chicago. I don't drive, and I often walk to 20 or more restaurants and food trucks offering everything, or sometimes I go to the Vietnamese place. There are 3 great Vietnamese places and at least 5 pot dispensaries within a 2 mile radius of my house in NW Vallejo. Vallejo has real rap. Does your town have it's own rap? I don't think so. In Vallejo, we have mayonnaise and mustard (which is a style of whitewall tire with a mustard yellow stripe outside the thicker white stripe). Does your town have mayonnaise and mustard? I think not. There is a pervasive rap group in Vallejo that grows its own pot. They only grow one kind of pot--cookies (kush hybrid), and they only smoke it one way--by rolling it up in a Backwoods tobacco leaf. Kids here won't even smoke joints, bongs, or bowls. Its got to be rolled up in a Backwoods cigar wrapper. |

I've read William Blake scholarship and biographies for 20 years and it's led to a larger literacy. Darwin (the original), Davies, McPherson, Jones and the Welsh antiquities)--the dissenting tradition (going back to the formation of the Anglican church)--You know, Bunyan, Muggleton and Reeves, Milton, Toland, Wesley, et al. |
