Introduction	I began making jewelry about 5 years ago. Two years ago I discovered polymer clay and it was love at first touch. It is a medium with much versatility and gets my creative juices flowing. I belong to the Philadelphia Area Polymer Clay Guild and am the Guild's librarian. The name Mortimer holds a special place in my heart hence my studio's name, MortimerInc. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley where I still live today with my husfriend and four cats. I have two adult sons who are on their own. The oldest is leaving for Peru soon to work as a volunteer at an NGO teaching art, yoga and English and my second son lives in Bursa, Turkey where he teaches English at a vocational/technical college. My other interests include history, political science, running and gardening.
