| Introduction | My life is dictated and ruled by a few things, yoga, music, my hair and my wonderfully charismatic daughter Etta Pearl. Music makes me style my hair this way, my hair style makes me listen to this music and my daughter controls the music that plays most of the time, so I don't really have time to do my hair much! All of this while I do yoga! I am confused easily by simple questions like: Who are you? and What do you do? I like to live a little out of the box, but I keep one foot in to keep me grounded. Schedules work for me, maybe half of the time... I support local and organic businesses and firmly believe that if I think globally and act locally the world will be a better place to raise my kid(s). I sometimes struggle to find my true self and then remember that simplicity is the key to my happiness and well-being, and this is why my career as a stay-at-home-mom morphed into teaching yoga to expectant mothers, children and grown up children (we call adults!). I try to have fun as much as I can, and am uncomfortable with people who are too serious all of the time. I love my friends, my family, my yoga students and random people who smile at me! |
| Interests | Yoga, reading and reading about Yoga! Spending time with friends, especially if there is food and/or wine involved! I love drinking coffee and chai lattes, Indian and Japanese foods are my favourite, but take me to the southern states and all I want is a big plate of guacamole and chips! |
| Favorite music | There is no music too callus or too zen for me... I have moshed the deepest pits... giggled and sang the cheeziest of lyrics at the top of my lungs.. and I have funked out to the heaviest of beats all the same. |
