Introduction	Bollyverse is what happens when two copy editors (S & R), with a penchant for having things just so, have time on their hands. What's more appealing, the music or the lyrics? That's a what-came-first-chicken-or-egg kind of question. We have no musical knowledge whatsoever, but we do understand lyrics and we like it available, karaoke style, for when we indulge our deep and abiding interest in Hindi film songs. Hence this page: part homage, part indulgence, part fun, part exploration. Are there better versions of the same stuff out there? Possibly. But we wanted to have our own. We don't intend for Un-Jaane to be presumptuous; it is as much a discovery of the intricacies of what we love as it is an attempt to make coherent lyrics available for anyone interested. Transliteration is tricky business and we rely on our ears and our limited Hindi knowledge, so suggestions and advice are welcome.
