| Introduction | Le regroupement montréalais du Département de la Culture. This is the Montréal Chapter for the Department of Culture, a growing community of Canadian citizens who are artists, arts professionals and cultural workers concerned about ensuring the social and cultural health of our nation in the face of a Federal Government that is aggressively undermining the values that define Canada. We are committed to working in our communities, we are working side-by-side with like minded organizations and issues, we are making art to make a change, we are making sure that the skies above us are not coloured Tory-blue for much longer, we are making people laugh while they think and think while they laugh, we are taking this election very seriously, we are working as hard in our studios and offices and rehearsal halls and theatres as we are in the streets, we are fighting for the rich social and cultural life that all Canadians so deserve.
