Introduction Being Nutritarian is a lifestyle, not a diet. It’s something that I am going to do for the rest of my life so that I can LIVE for the rest of my life. It consists of eating only fruits, veggies, nuts, whole grains, seeds, & beans: the highest nutrient dense, unprocessed, truly all natural foods. When I had cancer I was told that I wasn’t allowed to eat any of these foods unless they were thoroughly washed & cooked. I was encouraged to eat processed & refined foods. While eating this way I had migraines, problems sleeping, & no energy. After my husband read “Eat to Live”, a book by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, we decided to go against the doctor’s orders & change the way we ate. After 2 weeks I was off my chronic pain & neuropathy meds. Since reading the book & changing our diet, my husband has lost 30 lbs in 3 months & we’ve both started sleeping better, thus having more energy. We’ve done tons of research & watched tons of documentaries on eating & living healthier. Now I’m a cooking fiend, always hunting for & trying new recipes. I feel that I should share my new found knowledge because it has been so beneficial to me & I want everyone to experience what I have experienced!
