| Introduction | I am child of the 1980's though sometimes my sensibilities tell me I was born a couple centuries too late. My hobbies include (but are not limited to): cooking, camping (tent, as if there is there any other kind), reading and computers. I also enjoy afternoons at the museums and evenings at the theatre. Frederick Beuchner defines vocation as "matching your heart's deep gladness to the world's hunger". I try to do that in my own way through living out Christian principles of humility, love and joy. I've gained much by studying for many years both St. Benedict and Francis. I wouldn't be where I am on my path now without the grace-filled love and support of many along the same path. I screw up in my life, every day - sometimes several times a day. I am not trying to live the rest of my life, not in its entirity. Rather, all I ask is one day at a time. Humility. Love. Joy. |
