| Introduction | My name is Jen. I am somewhere between a junior and senior in my lengthy (6 1/2 year) college career. I love being a student. I never got it in high school, but once I got to college, I realized all those things that my teachers used to tell me were true. Education is empowering. Most of the time I feel like I am 2 people in one. I am shy and you may never notice me, but sometimes you can't get me to shut up! (My husband, and certain classmates attest to this!) I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I love to do a million things, and I don't think I'll ever settle down enough to stick to one. Piano was my life for the first 15 or 20 years, and now Reading and Writing consume my ever waking thought. Maybe someday the two will find a way to come together. Whether or not I know what I want or where I want to go, I still know who I am. I just have to learn how to not be afraid to show it. |
