| Introduction | We are both from the same town...in fact we are high school sweethearts! We have been together for over 13 years and married for over 10. We both agree that in the many good decisions we have made in life, getting married was probably the best! We have a solid marriage in which we hold each other in the highest respect and we are each others' best friend. We are very blessed...but we feel we have been missing something really special...the chance to be parents to a wonderful son/daughter. We are now on the journey of adoption which is why we are creating this blog! We hope that this will help us to find a special relationship with our first child and the birth parents. |
| Interests | We both enjoy being outside!! In the summer we love to be on the lake in our pontoon, running/walking, and taking care of our yard/garden. In the winter Kate loves to cross country ski and snuggle up with a good book in front of the fireplace. Jerrod loves to go snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter. We both cherish our friends and family and spend a lot of time relaxing with them! |
| Favorite movies | My (Kate) favorite movies are above and beyond...chick flicks! I love anything with gooey endings that leave you feeling all mushy inside! Jerrod loves action movies...as most men do! Can't say that we have any particular favorites. |
| Favorite music | I am more of a music buff than Jerrod...I like a variety of music but my favorite is Dave Matthews! I have seen him in concert 3 times and would go again in a heartbeat! |
| Favorite books | Jerrod got me a NookColor for Christmas...and I love it!!! I am definately the reader between us! On our week off prior to Christmas I read 3 books! Nothing more relaxing to me than a good book! |
