Introduction I am a professor of Comparative Genocide & Rhetorical Studies. Wierd title, I know, but I love my work because I get paid to read, write, think and talk about cool ideas. I also love my cat, my gramma, music, movies, LOST, The Office, Facebook, travelling, and sleeping in.

Favorite Movies I love movies, but I also really really love TV on DVD! The BEST way to see a series! OK - movies - What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Dancer in the Dark, Oceans 11, 28 Days Later, The Pianist, 13 Going on 30, Mean Girls, Heathers, Elf, Frida, Closer, Talladega Nights, Sliding Doors, About a Boy, Save the Last Dance, (i know there are others), and for series's - Heroes, Lost, Alias, Jericho, Freaks & Geeks, and Criminal Minds

Favorite Books I mostly read non-fiction for my job, but in the last year I have enjoyed - Coetzee's Waiting for the Barbarians, Desai's Inheritence of Loss, Saramego's Blindness, Murakami's Wild Sheep Chase, and Dance Dance Dance, and a great story of travelling and self-discovery called Honeymoon with my Brother. I also LOVE anything by David Sedaris!!
