Introduction	Two years ago Laura Cini went to Uganda volunteering for a vibrant association at Lake Bunyonyi. Here she made a small documentary about women crafts makers for the association. While she was there she learned about Punishment Island and what was happening there until not so long ago. Really fascinated by the story, last year she went back with the mission of finding a woman who survived the experience, something which nobody knew it was possible. The mission proved to be very difficult, but in the end she found more than one and many others with similar stories of disownment. She is now looking to make a feature documentary out of this very special story.
