| Introduction | My life’s passion has always been sailing to new foreign ports of call and experiencing their culture, food and customs. My long-term plans are to do a slow 5 to 7 year circumnavigation once my obligations at home have been met. I prefer to visit the smaller cities, settlements and villages along the coasts of countries, thereby ensuring we get to experience the real culture and not that which is peddled to the tourist. I seldom if ever spend a night at a dock, opting instead to lie at anchor, where it is generally more peaceful, and dinghy ashore. I am in great physical shape and have a zest for life and adventure. I am kind, generous, caring, and good-natured, have excellent self-control and do not shout at my crew. I abhor violence and unkindness. I love pets and animals. I am scrupulously honest in my business relations and my friendships. I have a great since of humor and am always looking to get a chuckle from whom ever I’m with. My reaction to calamity is often to see the lighter side. I don’t use tobacco products but do enjoy a little herb when it’s available, I’m a moderate drinker but do not enjoy getting drunk. |
