Introduction	My name is Steffan Lloyd, I've lived in the Ottawa region all my life. I started cross-country skiing very young, brought into the sport by my parents. I joined up with Nakkertok Ski Team also relatively young. The coaches were great, the practices were fun and the training partners were exceptional. For a while I did triathlons during the summer, then I would go to skiing during the winter, but as I became more serious about winning, I dropped triathlons to devote myself fully to skiing. Currently, I am training with Nakkertok on their Continental Cup team, under the coaching of Mike Vieira. Though I was offered a place at NTDC and possibly CNEPH, I chose to stay with Nakkertok because of the great support and coaching I've received to date. Recently, my work has payed visibly payed off, as I was recently nominated to the Junior National Team, I came 1 spot away from qualifying for World Juniors, and had many stellar results throughout the season. Hopefully next year, in my last year as a junior, I'll be able, with the help of the hard training I'm doing right now, have more high caliber results and success.
