| Introduction | This will be my 14th year in public education and I couldn't be more excited. Being a Title 1 Reading Specialist is full of rewards. The students are growing by leaps and bounds. The faculty at my school and I have a great time growing in our craft of empowering our students. My husband, Jeff, and I have been married 29 years. We have three amazing daughters. Meghan (26) and editor for Gospel Advocate, and Morghan (25) is married to Spencer and she is also a Science and Robotics teacher at Lakeway Christian School in Morristown, TN. Our youngest McKennah (18) is a freshman at Western Kentucky University. I love very simple things like sunshine and flip flops and spending time with family and friends. I obtained my bachelor's degree from Tennessee State University, my master's in Elementary Reading and Literacy and my Ed.S. is in Teacher Leadership. Every year in education is amazing as long as we continue to make a difference. |
