| Introduction | I grew up in Adrian, Mich., in the house my parents built in 1964, the year before I was born. My mom still lives there. My dad passed away on Jan. 15, 2011. I live in Ann Arbor with my beautiful wife, Charlotte, and two fine sons. I haven't missed a U-M home football game since 1991 (that's 20 full seasons) when I started as assistant editor of The Wolverine magazine.
