| Introduction | The Community Involvement Team engages with local and rural communities, partners and other organisations to help build community spirit and support our neighbourhoods. We also work with customers who are involved in shaping our service. Our Blog will tell you what we have been up to, what we are going to do and most importantly the outcome for our customers. We are a busy team so there will always be something to tell you about and plenty of photos! Julie Harvey currently heads up the team; Pam Smith works on the SARH Customer Inspectors Project and supports the Alliance. Laura MacPhee coordinates Toolbank, the annual Community Learning Programme and Growing Health, transforming wasteland into community allotments. Alison Poole works with a range of partners delivering Work Clubs in the community and is the project worker for Branching Out helping young people and parents into employment, training or volunteering. Kate Chester works with the team as the Community Nutritionist for Feel Good Food, delivering structured free courses in the community that educate people to make healthy lifestyle choices. |
