Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
I think that flexibility is much more important that expandability for travelers. You need to be able to deal with changes at the last minute. What do you do if you go to Honduras and a hurricane comes? Do you go home and ruin your trip, or do you take a bus to Panama to get out of the way? Or maybe even Peru?
