Introduction	Dr. Thomashow earned her medical degree from Michigan State University and did her residency at Michigan State University and Sparrow Hospital. She is dual board certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. She has privileges at both the University of Michigan Hospitals and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She also has a PhD in Molecular Genetics and has done research in reproductive biology and fat metabolism. She is also an appointee to the Michigan Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health, and Sports and the Advisory Committee Chair at Ascential Bioscience; an Integrated Health System Company.
