| Introduction | I have always know that I wanted to work with children. I dreamed of being a Kindergarten Teacher from the time I was in Kindergarten. This dream has led me to be involved with young children most of my life. In highschool I worked in their on sight daycare/preschool. Right out of highschool I worked in a daycare/preschool teaching 4 year olds. I attended Weber State University where I received my Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education. During my college years I worked in a toddler preschool and 3 other preschools teaching children ages 3-5. After graduating, I taught Kindergarten for Davis School District for 5 years. Then it was time for me to stay home with my own small children. I have been teaching preschool in my home for the past 4 years. I have such a love and passion for teaching young children. I love watching them learn. I love creating enriching experiences that help them to learn those skills needed to be successful in kindergarten. |
