| Introduction | Hi, I’m Marni—though I also respond to mom, ma, Ms. Marni, Cory’s wife, and occasionally “hey, crazy lady.” I’m pretty sure this is my sixth reincarnation, and I’m destined to keep coming back until I finally master the art of patience. My journey has been anything but ordinary. I’ve worked in Special Education, the medical field, and I’m currently pursuing my Psychology degree. I’m a mom to four incredible kids and a proud grandma to a grandson who’s the same age as my youngest. My two youngest children have Down syndrome, and my son has faced a long and challenging road of complex health issues. Through it all—the highs, the lows, and the chaotic in-betweens—I’ve learned to lean on humor, perspective, and the power of connection. This blog is my way of sharing my story and building a bridge—for you, for me, for all of us. Together, I hope we can create a compassionate and empowering community that shares experiences, lifts one another up, and reminds us that we are never truly alone.
