Introduction	My name is Tora and I was born drawing. Drawing was the first skill I learned, after walking and talking. I grew up in a village in Sardinia, Italy. As a child I would draw everything that caught my attention. From flowers to priests in church; from birds to dancers with torn clothes on TV. I further developed my drawing skills studying Graphics and Photography at the Istituto d’Arte in Sassari, Italy. After my diploma, I went to University to study Chemistry. For many years, I gave plenty of room to my scientific self and almost no room to that part of me that was screaming, unheard, to create. Science took me to Houston, Texas (USA) and Amsterdam, Netherlands, where I am settled now. A few years ago I packed up all my chemical belongings in a box and unpacked my beloved colors and papers. I am a creative being again. Happy with a pencil in my hand. Even though I was told “You never really stopped drawing...”
