| Introduction | I am a strong willed, stubborn, and dynamic person. I am starting this blog to track my weight loss because somewhere down the road, I've lost the commitment to myself. I am on a journey to rediscover why I am on this planet and what others see in me...for right now, I don't see much. I am a "retired" gymnast, teacher, graduate student, daughter, sister, and wife. I wear many hats as an identity, maybe that's the problem. Either way, I want to be able to celebrate myself again and fit into my size four skirts! |

| Favorite movies | TOP GUN tops the list because I wanted to be in the Air Force, but there are so many others. |
| Favorite music | I love classic rock from the 70's and 80's. I listen to pop music from today, "happy" country music, and some of the rock alternative music from today. (I'm not a fan of the screaming music, though) |
| Favorite books | I love reading books by Nicholas Sparks and John Grisham. The Da Vinci Code, Great Gatsby. Their Eyes Were Watching God are amongst my favorite books. |
