Introduction	what i write here is not for other people to read. "but steph," you say, "if it's on the internet, it's out there for people to read." and that's fine. if someone finds this blog and reads it, that's okay. point is, my sole reason for posting here is to leave messages for my son to find someday. not to get followers, not to inspire anyone (though if i do, that's cool, too), not to speak to the world at large. i would leave these messages in one of the several blank paper journals i have lying about, but as it happens, i type a lot faster than i write. these days, the faster i can do something, the better. and anyway, my son is big into drawing, and if he sees me with a pencil or a pen, whatever i'm writing in will be fair game for his artistic skills. you know, now that i've mentioned that, maybe i'll let him leave messages to himself in those journals...
