Introduction I'm a writer with long experience as an arts administrator, teacher and consultant. I've been an avocational political observer since President Kennedy was inaugurated when I was in first grade. I was founding editor of the Indiana Review, first director of the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing and first chair of the Alliance of Artists Communities. These days, I'm interested in making creativity happen, facilitating serious and productive conversation, and adding new ideas and new art to the world, by any means necessary.
