| Introduction | I'm learning it's not about me ~ I was created for His glory and for His purpose: Colossians 1:16 says, "For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, everything got started in Him and finds purpose in Him. "It's my desire to know God more deeply and intimately and through my relationship with Him, to allow Him to display Himself in my life. Yes, even the more, in the midst of my weaknesses, my trials, my grief, my pain, and loss! My goal, though I have yet to attain it, is described best in the words to this song: Not I, but Christ, be honored loved exalted Not I, but Christ, be seen, be known, be heard. Not I, but Christ, in every look and action, Not I, but Christ, in every thought and word. Oh, to be saved from myself, dear Lord (I can relate!) Oh, to be lost in Thee, to be lost in Thee, Oh, that it may be, no more I, but Christ who lives in me! |
