Introduction	We are the Cook family who are trying to live a simple, green life in south London. We have 4 children, whom we adore and who make us laugh and cry alot. They are all at school now, having had adventures into home educating in recent years. Mel works as a children and families worker, and Hamish as a finance officer. We attend the local URC church and love it. The big girls go to the Salvation Army. Here, we share little snippets from our days with you, in a hope that you'll find them interesting. Failing that, it lets our parents know we're still alive.

Favorite movies	About Schmidt, Brother where art thou, Galaxy Quest, The Three Amigos, Any movie with John Candy and all those soppy old Jane Austin( colin Firth!!) types.
Favorite music	AAh...well I will tell you mine and you can be assured it's nothing like Hamish's. Barry White, Lionel Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, Robert Palmer, Hall & Oates, John Rutter, Taverner, Elgar, Gershwin, John Williams and the occasional bit of Barry Manilow!!
Favorite books	I'd love to read!! At the moment it's pretty much National Geographic on the loo until someone comes a knockin'
