| Introduction | I am a writer.. My genre is main stream fiction, catering to women's fiction. My goal is for my published novels to be snatched up by young mothers for a brief respite while the baby sleeps, or a busy female executive getting on a plane trip, or the woman looking for a good, light read. I love to read, I love to write. I have written stories since I was in the fourth grade. Writers I admire: Barbara Samuel, aka Barbara O'Neal, Kris Radish, Richard Russo, Anne Tyler, Joyce Carol Oates. Who is my voice the most like? Probably Barbara O'Neal. I have had the privilege of taking two writing classes with her and I feel truly blessed to have been able to do that. I also love to cook, take photos, garden, drink wine and laugh. A lot. I am currently the President of the Springfield Writers' Guild, a chapter of the Missouri Writers' Guild. I am also a member of Ozarks Romance Authors. Writing is my passion.
