Half Time Hobos...Stories from our Travels

About me

Introduction	I am an international teacher, originally from the US. I moved to Qatar in 2002, thinking that I would work for two years overseas and ¨get it out of my system.¨ I met my wonderful husband, Jim, in 2003 and we were married in 2006. Since then we have lived in China and Syria. We consider ourselves half time hobos because when we are not in the classroom we try to travel every opportunity we have. At the moment we are exploring South America and living off our severance packages after our school in Damascus closed last fall. We have new jobs for next year in Indonesia, but will always jump at the chance to load up our packs and take on a new country!
